Tervitusi Hiinast…

HI.

Annan teile meie viimase aja tegemistest ka lopuks teada. Oleme juba terve nadala Hiinas ringi uudistanud ja higistanud. Elasime nadala meie tuttavate juures Pekingis. Nad elasid samuti mitu aastat Ca’s kuid kolisid tagasi hiina, kuna neile ei meeldi”legaalselt” ari ajada. Irv. Neil on 5,5 aastane Poeg Justin, kes on maailma ara hellitatuim laps. Ja neil on ka 18 kuu vanune tytar Katherine, kes jai meie tuleku ajal haigeks. Me elasime kesklinnast kusagil 35 minuti kaugusel. Uskuge mind kui ma ytlen teile et Eesti ja Usa liiklus on lausa suureparased Hiina liiklusega vorreldes.

Siinne rahvas soidab palju jalgratastega. Rattaid on igal pool ja nii monigi soidab vastassuuna voondis. Liiklusmarkidest ei pea keegi lugu, punase tulega pooratakse vasakule ja soidetakse otse ja tehakse umbakaudu ymberpoordeid. Ja liiklus on alati ummistunud. Nii et Oh my god….

Kasime ara Hiina myyri uudistamas. Hasti voimas on toesti. Kuid kahjuks olid meil lapsed kaasas ja kuna hiina myyr koosneb treppidest ja jarskudest kynkakestest, ei saanud me vaga palju ronida.

Samuti kaisime ka Keelatud linnas( forbidden citys), ja Summer Palaces. Vot see oli juba midagi. Kunst, seina maalingud, aasia parased katused, ja koige selle juurde kuulus POLETAV kuumus..

Kaisime ara ka Tsinghua Ylikoolis kus Nick ennast targaks tuupis. JUUUUUBE suur ikka , ja vaga ilusa pargiga./ Lootused, puud, vaikesed sillad siin ja seal …..

Ah jah, toidust siis niipalju et oige hiina sook on ikka vaga vyrtsine kuid vaga hea maitsega. Minu koige meeldejaavam ealmus toimus yhes Hunan stiilis restoranis. Toit oli super maitsevja very spicy. Pisarad pani silmast valja jooksma. Soime ja joime ja soime ja joime ja ma ikka kiitsin kah takka et, jah vaaaga hea soook on. Kuna ma olin alati AINUKE valge igas seltskonnas, siis keegi minu parast inglise keeles ikka raakima ei hakanud kyll. Ja toidud telliti lauale ( ikka VAGA palju sooke korraga). Ja ma siis maitsesin kah koike. Ja nyyd edaspidi olen targem. Ma parem ei kysi mis nad serveerivad. NIMELT soin ma Eesli Perset ( donkeys butt) . Vaga hea ja mahlane perse oli, pean ara mainima. Kuid jah, oleks ise persekile porandale potsatanud kuid kuulsin mida ma endale pulkadega naost sisse ajasin.. Anyway, oleks oma kukkumise olle pahe ajanud…. Mis mul ikka muud teha oli kui juua ja siis jalle noogutada ja siis ebalevalt fake naeratusi kah sekka segada…..

Peale Seda kui ma oma nao eesli persest puhtaks pesin , yritasin ma oma paksu tagumikuga hip hoppima minna. Irv. Oli yks vinge tanav kus 7-8 klubi reas, kaisime yhest teise et endale sobiv leida. Arvasin et tegin oige valiku kui ARMSAKESTE clubisee sisenesin. Silt lubas hip hopi ja house, sees aga sain shoki omanikuks kui peale pandi Madonna ja Michale Jackson- irv. Pidime ostma VIP service et endale lauda saada- pudel Absoluty ja mahlad, -500 Yeeni. Ja siis ma join veel, kuna lihtsalt pidin tantsijad enda jaoks rytmi jooma…..

Nyyd oleme Nicki tookohas Hangzhous. Vaga ilus ja roheline Linn vorreldes Pekingiga. Pekingist siia kestis lend 2 tundi.

Selle linna keskel on hasti suur ja ilus jarv West lake. Jarve kaldad on oitsevate lootustega kaetud. Hasti ilus on.

Ilm on siin kuumem ja hullem kui Pekingis. Niiskus on jube. Ja Argem unustagem saaski. Saased on suured nigu hobused ja kui hammustavad siis keha laheb kohe paiste. Oleks pidanud ennast enne ikka ara lasknud vaktsineerida…..

Homme soidame Shangaisse paevaks, ja nadala parast laheme Nicki kodulinna nadalaks. Seni aga some Hiinsa sooki, vaatame hiina telekat ja yritame poest osta toitu, ja lugeda pakendi pealt koike hiina keeles. Toesti, eesis ja usas on elu ikka vaga hea. Siinne elu on 100% ikka hiinlaste jaoks. Paljudes kohtades puuduvad inglise keelsed juhendid, ja tanava nimed on ka enamjaolt hiina keeles.

Ma vist ei maininud seda et toalett siin on AUK maasees. Muidugi ilus keraamiline auk, Pottides tunnen ma kohe suuremat puudust. Arvan et kui koju lahen kallistan kohe oma armsat valget potti…. Samuti tunnen puudust puhtatest Laguna Nigueli tanavatest ja inimestest kes naeratavad, tanavad sind, ytlevad head aega, ja ei jookse tanaval sind pool surnud. Tunnen ka puudust Veidike paremast Ca liiklused, kuid pean ara mainima et hakkan siinse liiklusega vaikselt ara harjuma. Autojuhid on kyll hullud soitjad, kuid ettevaatlikud soitjad….

Dear Friends…

As you know I will be spending 4 weeks in China. We will visit lots of different places and I will be really, really busy. I created blog just for my china trip. And since I heard that Blogger is blocked by Chinese something ( not sure who controlls that), then my friend will update for me. I will email her and she will copy and paste. BE patient!!! Way to exited to do anything at all. lol Few days ago I found out that my camcorder has no manners . lol battery lasts only 10 minutes and images look kind of all off color pinkish. So today I went to Best BUY and got myself new awsome toy. I wanted to get camcorder with dvd in it, but after 20 minutes of touching and flipping and talking and other things I decided to get regular one. I got myself Canon Elura 100 digital camcorder. It is nice and small and beautiful 🙂 Maybe now I get China into my computer just the way I want it 😉

My complection…

Proactive is my answer. I swear. That thing works. After my first wash my skin felt smoother and cleaner. On third day I had 70% less break outs and now, week later I started using it, by skin is getting better and better every minute. I only use it for my body, not to my face, and I feel really exited that finally SOMETHING works. 🙂 LOVE IT 🙂

4 more days and we are on our way to CHINA!!! ! yeah, I can not wait . I sooo want to get out of here and see and experience china. 🙂

Last time I had my hair done by professional hairdresser I paid 100 dollars and it was year ago for color( highlights). So , On saturday afternoon I went back to my hairdresser with an Idea and she was more than exited to do it because at least I wanted something more ” funky” and “original”. lol After 2,5 hours I ended up looking ALMOST the way I wanted to look. Color was littlebit OFF but I was happy. BUT what made me almost pass out was THE pricetag my head came with…. 200 dollars+tip….. I was not ready for that price. I had no Idea that prices had gone up so much on that hair place ( THe Art Of Hair). But oh well, that was my fault, I did not check with my hairdresser first.

1000 dollars poorerererer. Yup, thats me. I had to take my car back to dealership to get it fixed. Yesterday, after I dropped Regina off to school, I was on my way home when suddenly something weird happened- My car did not want to stop…. So warning signs, no weird guys yelling- YOUR BRAKES ARE OUT, YOUR BRAKES ARE OUT.. Luckily I was driving only 10 miles an hour and hand brake did the thing…. Brakes, and fuses( or whatever they call those things that light up those warning lights) , and rotary something costed me almost 1000 dollars. Yuck. Now at least I do not have to worry about brakes another year. ( yup, ever year almost same time, same problem).

And. I am not sure what the heck is going on with this CA weather. One day it is steaming hot and then suddenly it is cold and raining. So stupid . Global warming??? duh… Well, all that weird weather has invited some outdoor bugs indoors. I flushed 6 spiders today and got bitten by one. And they keep coming in. Small, big, black, brown… . spiders… I hate spiders and kids hate spiders… yuck…

AND I AM EXITED to tell you that one more week and I’ll be out of here… I hope China can handle me…

Mexican Burgers.

I really think that America has gone grazy…. lol Next new best thing- MEXICAN BURGERS. lol Who knew that mexican have burgers, ( but of course since Estonians have them, why not to let mexicans have them also….

Well, here is the recipe. I really needed to eat something different today, so I made these burgers.

Recipe came from Cooking Pleasures magazine..( Photo by Diana Tan)

Mexican Burgers
1-1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion
1 pickled jalapeno chile (I used diced green chiles)
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon grate lime peel (I omitted)
3/4 teaspoon salt
4 slices Monterey Jack cheese

1/2 cup Jalapeno-Lime Mayonnaise
2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
1/2 cup Quick-Roasted Chile Salsa ( or any other salsa)
1 cup Quick Guacamole

In medium bowl, gently mix together beef, cilantro, green onion, chile, garlic, chili powder, lime peel and salt. Shape into 4 patties. Heat grill. Place burgers on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal hrill 4-6 inches from medium coals; cover grill. Grill 8-10 minutes or until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink in center, turning once. Top each burger with one slice cheese, grill 1 minute or until cheese has melted. Spread each roll with 2 tablespoons of the Jalapeno-Lime Mayonnaise. Place lettuce on top of tolls; top with burgers, salsa and guacamole.

I loved them. I am not big on buns, so I just had a burger, lettuce, with all the other stuff on it. And it tasted delicious. :):):) Simple and great and tasty recipe. :):)

I just made one of the biggest mistakes of my life… I opened bottle of red whine that is just horrible. ( I should not be drinking red wine anyway, but I do not trust my doctor- I am planning to tell him that- glass of wine , keeps a doctor away….. Anyway, we are members of Wine club of California and every month we get 2 bottles of red wine delivered to our doorstep… Last month they sent us Caparone family winery wines. One that I opened is Cabernet Sauvignon. It is just WAAAYYY to strong and overpowering. I absolutely hate it. yuck. Yuck, yuck.

But, my latest good wine experience is thanks to Leila. For my birthday she gave me bottle of Rawsons Retreat Shiraz Cabarnet. This wine just tasted right. It was very smooth and calming (;) I LOVED IT. My new fave :):):)

Ok. Now I have to figure out what am I going to with rest of the Caparone bottle. Yuckkkk…

So , you think….

I can live without dishwasher??? BINGO!!! You are absolutley right!!! My dishwasher broke last friday, after my friends ” good bye” party. Sine then, I have been handwashing my dishes. MY POOR DELICATE HANDS get real housewife training now. OH, the joys of broken household appliances. … I think that I will not get this GE profile performance fixed. IT will be its third time and repears exceed 300 dollars. Price for this built in dishwasher is 400 dollars. ( cheap stuff, but hey, it came with house- almost came with house, we updated it to stainless steal …..) . So , now I am doing everything by hand. …. Just trying to same some money…lol..

last night I was forced to post In LIFE as IT IS blog ( http://www.diana78.blogspot.com) because this PMS blog was not found….. weird. So if you want to know what the heck is going on, go there and read the latest entry about myPMS….

As you know I am married… lol yeah, and I have 2 kids and my husband just had enough and moved to china , so he does not have to listen to my blah, blah blah 24/7……( I love you honey…) So today he called and started bitching about how bad chinese food is.????? And trust me, he does it EVERY TIME HE CALLS( 4 times a week). I KNOW HONEY, you allready told me…. and my response to him – SO GO OUT THERE AND FIND SOM E’ Better MSG free food??? Do something about it!!!! Don’t just complain, take action and ask around. But knowing my husband… I do not think he will do that. He expects ME to go there and find him THAT IT!!!! Oh, sweety, I feel bad for him. Every time he goes to China he buys his favorite protein bars and shakes with him, he takes Total cereal and mixed nuts( from costco). He is total health food freak… BUT what bugs me is He can not find his way in china… He is Chinese and he asks directions from me- WHAT SHOULD I DO , HONEY??? ( to bad he can not read this blog in china, blogger is blocked by chinese covernment, weird , huh???).

I think that is it for today…. I am turning my TV to fox and watch- So you think you can dance?? What’s up my firends?? Any exiting summer vacation plans??
